Memory Verse With Explanation

Matthew 6:25-26 NIV‬
[25]  “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? [26] Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Since i was born and now i am getting old never have i seen or heard that rats lost weight as a result of food inflation.
I have never heard that wall geckos ever ran out of supplies to the point of carrying placards to protest before God.
I haven't also seen where wild animals in the jungle like lions and crocodiles ate weeds.
They always had their supplies undisrupted.
Animals who were created less than us have since creation been provided for how much more you and i who were made in God's image and likeness?

Impatience is not what we suffer from as humans but trust issues is.
We fear what would happen should things turn out the opposite way.
We spend the bulk of our time Catastrophizing instead of trusting God. When asked to talk about ourselves as believers we are so quick to chip in the *i am an optimist* line that word optimism has been misused and abused still we are far from the real definition of it. All we find in the body of Christ are pessimistic believers. People who don't know their God.

Most of us have not the slightest inclination of what being a Christ follower entails. We do not live like neither do we practice the things he modeled for us while he was on earth with us.
Jesus Christ literally, physically and consciously left every single worry about his life to the FATHER!! His major concern was on what he was assigned to do, teaching others about Kingdom lifestyle and business. Jesus never bothered about his provisions or protection because he lived from a place of abundance.

Living from a place of abundance doesn't necessarily equate to having everything you need to live a comfortable life, but having the mindset of one who has everything needed per time. Whatever you don't have you don't currently need. Sufficient for today is the problem thereof KJV says!!
Living from a place of abundance is realising who your odogwu(sponsor) is and operating from the understanding of the word Abba(source and sustenance) which happens to be the name of our God.
Lastly abundant living is your ability to be content in whatever situation you find yourself in whether good or bad.

Unfortunately today Christians are like apples who have fallen too far from it's tree(Christ), a lot of them do not even know their roots so they live like lost souls in a world they ought to be dominating.
I myself was guilty of this when i joined the body but thank God for his mercy that delivered me from bread and butter Christianity.

I have come to not only realise but also walk in and work from a place of knowing and embodying who i am in Christ Jesus *His beloved and redeemed daughter*
If my Father was Aliko Dangote for instance, i would never have to bother about lack till i leave this earth, i would never catch myself doubting my father's ability to provide for me cause i know his money is LONG!! I wouldn't even think about my own protection cause i know and trust that my earthly father is capable of handling that.  Now how much more my heavenly Father? The "Creator of heaven and earth and everything in it?" How much more a flawless, generous and ever constant God who doesn't change like shifting shadows and knows how to give good gifts? A God who is so loving, kind and mindful of me? A dependable and ever present help in time of need Father? My Yahweh Sabaoth the Lord who fights for me?

The reason we find it hard to trust God is because we don't know him. If you truly know your God you will understand that he loves you more than you can ever love yourself. His plans are greater than you can ever come up with yourself. Everything you are was made possible by him so tell me how you can possibly have more than the one who gave to you?
God cares for you way more than you can ever imagine, he is The Creator which means he has more of what you can ever have in his possession. He wants to give you a stressfree life, the soft life in Christ Jesus, the Zoe life,if only you can lay down what you think you've got and trust him enough to let him.

If he can cater to animals and flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow what do you think he'll do for you?
When he says Be still and know that i am GOD even amidst wars and famine he meant every word of it. Remember the story of the widow of Zarephath in 1kings 17? How God gave a word that her oil and flour would not run out before she sees the rain and it was so?
See just trust your God to take care of your today and even tomorrow because he is more than able and he is also willing. Rely on his PRESENCE not your provision family.
If you call him Father then you ought to let him do his job as your father. Take a pillow, go to sleep and watch him change your life for the better.
Lastly make conscious effort to rest while at it okay?
Shalom shalom!!

Memory Verse With Explanation

Luke 7:37-38 NIV‬ [37] A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, so she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume. [38] As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them. If you're an ardent bible study attendee then this scripture would be very familiar to you. So familiar a scripture that even unbelievers know it. It's the story of the woman with the alabaster box. A woman who poured out more than a year's wages on the feet of Christ as a form of reverence to him, not only that, washed his feet with her tears and wiped them clean with her hair. One thing about this popular scripture is that the woman in question was a renowned prostitute, one who at her time was considered unworthy to be in the presence of noble men let alone the presence of the King of Kings. This story has been acted on stag...

Galatians 4:1-2 NIV‬ [1] What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. [2] The heir is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father.  I remembered having a conversation with my dad one time during my childhood days that made everybody seated there burst into laughter.  I asked if i could get money to buy "pampers"(Sanitary Pad) seeing as my elder sisters were using one LOL!! Yeah feel free to laugh at my childishness as everyone who heard the story after that day laughed at me and called me miss pampers.  I wanted to do grown up stuff when i wasn't even at that stage yet. I hadn't started menstruating but i wanted money to buy pad that i wasn't ready for, I thought it was the coolest thing to do as girls i didn't realise i would first have to spot miss red flag before getting my own pampers. Today's scripture is no different from my childhood ta...
